So what is the Lambda class shuttle anyways? It is about the coolest looking space shuttle that I have ever seen in any science fiction show. It is a Star Wars space vehicle.Star Wars is a story that is six movies long, and the only episode that you see a Lambda class shuttle in is in episode 6, Return of the Jedi, which is the last movie in the Star Wars story.
In that particular episode, you get to see it three times. Once at the very start of 'Return of the Jedi', you see it dropping out of the bottom of a Star Destroyer, and then flying to and landing on the partially constructed 2nd Death Star.
Later, you see a Lambda class shuttle that the Rebel Alliance obtained, being flown by Han Solo with Chewbaca and Princess Leia on board as well. This paricular Imperial shuttle was named Tydirium.
Sometime after that you then see it again landing on some kind of platform on the forest moon of Endor.
According to some of the specifications that I have read, the Lambda class shuttle is said to be very well armed for a space shuttle, with three double blaster cannons and two double laser cannons. It is 20 meters long and has an atmosperic speed of 850 kilometers per hour.
